Just Launched: UCLA EV

Summit Bodyworks is proud to congratulate UCLA on their recent delivery of an industry first, custom specialty vehicle. We’ve been working closely with UCLA  alongside the teams at Winnebago and Motiv Power Systems to launch the first ever all-electric zero-emission mobile surgical instrument lab. We worked with Winnebago as a preferred commercial EV platform upfitter to bring this EPIC F-53 33 foot chassis to life.

Our custom vehicle upfit includes two desks and workbenches, an industrial sink and two stations for ultrasonic cleaners. We designed this vehicle with custom cabinetry, lighting, walls and ceilings. As with all our specialty vehicle builds, we worked closely with UCLA to build and deliver a vehicle that fit their exact needs. Our graphics division, SBW Graphics was responsible for the installation of the vehicle wrap, as well as assisting in the design process to perfect it.
